At a Glance

Indexed Records Every Time

Every file produced by Kestrel Ledger carries a printed contents sheet so you always know exactly what you have and where to find it.

Scope Stated Upfront

Administrative and informational support only. Entitlement questions and legal queries are referred to the appropriate channel — always, without exception.

Sessions Run on Your Schedule

Appointments at our Kuala Lumpur office or, for the Organisation Session, at a location convenient to you — including evenings on request.

Plain English, Always

Every document type and process step is described in plain language. A glossary of Malaysian retirement terminology is provided with each service.

Digital and Physical Outputs

Organisation sessions produce both a physical archival wallet and a structured digital folder — so your records are accessible whether you prefer paper or screen.

Group Sessions Available

The Workshop Series accommodates up to twenty-five people and can be delivered in person or online — suited to employers and community associations across Malaysia.

Administrative Experience in Retirement Records

The Kestrel Ledger team has spent years working with the kinds of documents that retirement preparation involves: EPF statements, SOCSO records, employer correspondence from multiple decades, formal government letters, and identification copies in various states of completeness. That familiarity means sessions move efficiently without cutting corners — the coordinator knows what to look for, what is commonly missing, and what typically needs to be sourced before a submission can proceed.

  • Familiarity with EPF, SOCSO and public service pension record formats
  • Experience sorting records from multiple employers across long careers
  • Knowledge of documents ordinarily required for common submission types

A Consistent, Documented Process

Every Kestrel Ledger session follows a written procedure. Documents are received, logged, sorted chronologically, catalogued, scanned, and filed in a consistent order. Nothing is placed without a record of where it went. The contents sheet that accompanies every file is a product of that discipline — a reliable index that remains useful years after the session ends.

  • Written procedure followed for every file
  • Chronological sorting with categorical sub-grouping
  • Contents sheet as a permanent record of each session

Digital Filing That You Control

Scans are produced at office-document resolution in PDF format, named according to a clear and consistent labelling convention, and placed in a structured folder hierarchy that mirrors the physical wallet. The digital folder is handed over to the client — stored on a drive or cloud service of their choice — not held by Kestrel Ledger after the session.

  • PDF scans with consistent naming convention
  • Folder structure mirrors physical archival wallet
  • Digital folder handed to client — not retained on our systems

A Single Point of Contact Throughout

For the Paperwork Preparation Support engagement, the same coordinator handles every appointment from start to finish. There is no handoff between staff members. That continuity means the coordinator already knows the file when you arrive for the second appointment, and time is spent on the work rather than re-establishing context.

Transparent, All-Inclusive Pricing

The price stated for each service is the price charged. There are no add-ons for scanning, for the archival wallet, for the contents sheet, or for the glossary. The Workshop Series price covers printed workbooks for every participant. Fees are in Malaysian Ringgit and can be paid by bank transfer or card at the office.

  • Organisation Session: RM 490 inclusive
  • Paperwork Preparation Support: RM 1,560 for the full engagement
  • Workshop Series (up to 25): RM 4,200 inclusive

What Makes Kestrel Ledger Distinctive

The Document Checklist Board

Before a session begins, clients receive a pre-session checklist listing the papers most commonly needed for retirement-related work. It is organised by document category, includes a printable version, and reduces the time spent during the session identifying what is missing.

A Glossary of Malaysian Retirement Terminology

Every client receives a plain-language glossary covering EPF, SOCSO, public service pension, and related terminology. It is written for the person arriving at retirement, not for a practitioner — straightforward definitions without legal language.

30-Day Follow-Up at No Charge

Within thirty days of completing a session, clients may contact the coordinator with questions about the organised file — for clarification on what a document is or where to find something specific. This follow-up period is included in the service fee.

On-Site or Office — Your Choice

The Organisation Session can be conducted at the client's home or existing office rather than at Menara Binjai — which is particularly useful for older clients or those with a large volume of documents already stored in a fixed location.
